Distribution

The record from Japan (unlocalized) was ignored as it could also refer to one of the Ryuku islands.

There is a general problem of differentiating records for H. boerhaviae and H. rosetta as the two species are almost indistinguishable and were treated as one species for a long time. Thus, older records particularly could refer to either.

Records of H. rosetta from the Torres Straits (Dauan, Warraber Island) may be credible, but the species has not been found on the Australian mainland or New Guinea.
