The species is a recent colonist of Hawaii (first record 1976, Oahu island). The northernmost record in China (Ya-chiao-ling, Heilongjiang province) is possibly erroneous, the records from eastern Siberia ('Amur and Primorye regions') could refer to any site in that large district.
